seat belt sensor

    hello

    My seat belt sensor is broken. It keeps beeping (and the light comes on in the dash) even when i am buckled up.

    Apparently their is a problem with the loom in the seat itself. Can the buzzer be turned of? Should I try to have it disconnected? I have been quoted €160 to have it fixed. That is the seat opened up and the loom replaced.

    Is there a cheaper option?
