    You could consider asking for 'convictions', or 'convictions and arrests', or 'all personal data'.

    It says it can take up to 40 days, anyone know if their usually fast or slow sending back the information?

    bearing in mind, you are not entitled to everything under the freedom of information act. garda intelligence is exempted by law from being given out. so essentially you would receive back any convictions searches etc that you may or may not have on your record.




    id suggest just writing in any information available held on me in the garda system.

    There will be no convictions. Maybe a few searches though.

    request "all personal data held" could take a while but they aren't entirely unhelpful in the Gardai Data Protection Office

    I only sent it off yesterday so I guess i'm in for a long wait. I'm not expecting much on it but you never know lol....
