    Hi Vanderbadger,
Keep your money in your pocket!!!! Was great to start with, no crow in sight, brillant you might say. However sure enough they started to get used to it and before long, they were back in to the sheds and I sweared they were sittingup on top of it, ****ting on it and turning it on/off as they f..king pleased:(
Spoke to the sellers and they said we needed other sounds but didnt bother.
Another person I knew with one also had the exact same thing to say about it, WASTE!!!!!!!!

Id second this! A dead crow on the ground is a better job (and cost much less.....)but needs to be replaced after a week or 2 as they are smart enough to recognise it after a week or 2... Admitedly it's bit more unsightly tho

On the positive side, we had an awful problem with starlings and swallows building nests throughout the sheds and ****ting on every car, tractor and machine. We bought one of these and had it up for a couple of months around nesting time and they stayed away. That was 3 years ago - they haven't nested in the sheds since and we don't have the scarer there anymore either.

Last year we were feeding straw to cows and had a lot of problems with crows around it. We put it up in the shed and it kept them away for the 5 or 6 months that we were feeding the straw! Can't vouch for it working any longer than that but would be confident that it would work well in conjunction with one of those kite hawks - they can be bought on ebay.co.uk quite cheaply in comparison to some Irish suppliers.

5 meter pole kit plus kite for £25 - you may have to use parcel motel to get it sent here, but that's only €3.50.

The electronic scarer that we bought was €75 in Connacht Gold - about 4 years ago

Yes we usedthe kite for a good while, worked reasonable well (maybe a yr) but got used to it. Possible need to change kites. The proplem became more acute when tmr was used, they could spread material completely one side of passage to other side. Not huge issue when little or no feed been fed.
