ASUS Vs Lenovo?

    Hi all,

    I've been asked by a friend to recommend a laptop for his OH. She will be using it to backup her ipod and archive her music, browse facebook etc. Budget is around €400.

    I narrowed it down to these two both priced €399...

    ASUS X551CA-SX024H 15.6" Laptop
    Full Specs

    Lenovo G505 15.6 Inch 1TB 4GB Laptop

    I was going to suggest the ASUS was the best of the two as the cpu on the Lenovo is fairly crap compared to the i3.

    I noticed on the ebuyer site is says beside RAM ( provided memory is soldered ) WTF:eek:

    Does this means there is only one slot to put extra ram in the machine? Which laptop would you guys go for?
