How much space required on sides of LED TV?

    Following on from my previous post regarding 50" TV, I think the 55" Samsung UE55F8000ST might actually be what I'm looking for.

    The issue is that I have a TV storage system design for 50". The 55" will leave approx 1cm on either side of the TV (although it will have 40cm+ above the TV).

    Apart from making it difficult to access the side of the TV if I needed are there ventilation issues if the side of the TV is confined like this?

    My other Samsung has ventilation slots on the top, so I imagine this is similar.
