Volvo s40 radio text

    The last few days iv noticed that the radio text is showing the same text on 2fm all the time. Is this a Volvo problem or a 2fm broadcasting issue??

    Are other stations working?
    If not did you press RDS on the stereo by mistake?

    From what I can tell today fm, rte1and i radio display data about the current presenter and show but I haven't been in the car long enough to have a good look. 2fm used to display this but now it continues to display the same text

    If other stations are working it sounds like 2fm only, hence not the radio unit
    Maybe someone who remembers can check if they see it too.

    Ok iv checked it out. The radio text is saying the wrong text for 2fm, today fm, radio1 and newstalk. I can only assume the rest of the stations are the same. Any ideas??

    Tbh, without seeing the unit it's really hard to know what's going on. I don't understand what you mean by "wrong text". Did you try the RDS button?

    Take it to an audio specialist if one is local.
    They will look at it for free and give you a quote for a fix. Or fix it for free, happens too.
