I'm sure related questions have been asked 1000 times before but I am just looking for some exact details for this case.I am looking to buy a insert with back boiler. The current open fireplace is located about 1.5 m horizontally from the hot water cylinder. The cylinder is raised slightly so if I do get the inset the top of the inset will be approx the same height as the bottom of the cylinder. I don't know much but I know these systems work on the principle of hot water rising thru cold, so is my cylinder too low? If it is possible, what else would I need to get to put into the system and what is the approximate cost a plumber would charge? Like I said, it's very very close to the cylinder and it would be easy to get pipes through. Thanks.
