Query: HR and Increment

I've been ASTI for the past few years in a mixed ASTI/TUI school. This year I secured a position in a VEC school, which is full TUI. I've since left the ASTI - since they have no negotiating rights with my VEC. I haven't joined TUI as I don't think I can move from one to the other under current circumstances (in any case, I don't really want to either - given the goings on of the past 6 months). When I started I wasn't asked about union membership etc. S+S has been foisted upon me and I'm complying with all aspects of Haddington Road. Since I'm doing everything that's required of me, should I get my increment? Or is it a hard and fast case of only TUI members receiving their increments? Being non-union at the minute has me highly confused.

I was under the impression that all staff in ETB schools are treated as being under Haddington Road, regardless of whether they are in TUI or are non-union members.

No. Certain schools (Designated Community Colleges) within the ETBs are being classed as mixed union - even if they are not. In these schools you must fill in the form to declare TUI membership or else remain outside the agreement.
