Even if it ticked all your box's as regards what you required / needed / wanted.

Passed a new Clio yesterday and it looked pretty snazzy but as a male I may have difficulty purchasing it, can imagine the conversation in the local, "so what you driving these days" "erm a, cough Clio" followed by much guffawing

Or is it just me :o

Is it because Clio have "girly car stigma"?

What about a stupid name no-one ever heard of before?
We already "Qashqai" (Cashcow), would you drive a "Tweezeledans" if it was nice-looking and drive well?

Not really, no - in fact, if I had a Citroen Vulva, for example, it would amuse me no end every morning. :D

Well there's already plenty of people on this forum who have no problems with driving an Opel Insignia, but wouldn't drive the exact same car if it has a Vauxhall badge on it.

Yes as regards the Clio, the Qashqai I'd have no issue with, I wouldn't drive a Tweezeledans but not 100% sure why not

In general no it wouldn't bother me that much. But I guess there are some limits I don't think I would feel comfortable driving round in the new "Kia Vagina" should there ever be one so named.

The following would put me off:

    Ford Lactation
    Renault Bikini line
    Subaru PMT

    and such and such

    I'd love a Subaru Flibbertigibbet, a Ford Fatbastard, a Nissan Frenulum or even a Mercedes-Benz Üterbratenwagen! :D

    My friend has a Qashqai,

That's really it. A bloke in the pub saying he drives a supermini can be a tad embarrassing alright. I drove a Corsa for a few years and I used to get the piss taken out of me. Anything from the next class up is fine, in Ireland at least.

In America you'd have the piss taken out of you if you had a motor from that segment too. A bloke would be expected to drive a "midsizer" or above.

The multipla though I'm still not sure if it's the name or the looks that make me think "special needs"...

Which is ironic, given that he clearly has bigger balls than the rest of you. ;)

The real question is, are you man enough to drive a girly car?
