SaorView EPG API available ?

    I'm looking to get the Saorview epg in a data format.I found this thread of interest http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056389438
    Is there anyway to get the current Irish epg in a data format? The BBC have such a service http://www.bbc.co.uk/developer/technology/apis.html
    Is there even a commercial api that provides an Irish version?

    The satellite receiver gets the epg over the air from the satellite, is it possible to get the data from a satellite receiver?
