CASE INTERNATIONAL 1056XL DOOR WONT OPEN

    I have been having problem with both doors as past few months as couldn't open either of them from the outside would have to reach in and open from the inside but now one of the door wont open from the inside at all, the lock in the middle is working ok but its the lock at the top that wont open, ive tried everything but no luck...anyone any ideas

    Use the other door...


    or take the locks off and clean and grease them and their linkages. They're hammer and vice grip technology so I doubt it'll take a lap-top or a main dealer.

    would like both doors to be in use and cant get the top lock to release

    ah stchtop 2pack, investigate further with various poking implements and release the striker then grease it up. They seize up either from water ingress or lack of use. Ball in a load of wd40 and do some wiggling.

    it could be the cable that's broken or its sliding through the bolt that tightens it on the lock
