Beats solo HD 144 euro currys

Currys.ie have beats red, black, white, solo hd for 144 euro down from 180 euro. Not a huge reduction but I've never seen beats cheaper than this.

Why where are they cheaper other than the 4cent in power city. Their still expensive but if you want beats it's as cheap as you'll get them in an irish store. It's still 20 percent of a brand that is rarely reduced. Unless there is somewhere else you know that sells them cheaper.

The solos are rubbish but not all Beats are rubbish, I have the Beats Pro's and I have not had better headphones in terms of sound and build quality.

friends teenage daughter compared thesebeats headphones to a set of similar ones for a tenner in penneys . the was no difference in sound quality so the penneys ones for a tenner are a great bargain .

Tbh I don't have a pair not yet anyway. But infairness beats don't sell because there cheap. I know about 10 people who are in college with me and they all say there excellent and they listen to them for a few hours a day. Like everyone has a different opinion on them. Most of the opinions on here are bad. Some people will think something is a bargain another person might think there rip off its just the way it is. The point of this thread was to give anyone who actually wanted beats a heads up and save a few Bob on them. It wasn't to convert beat haters. But anyone I know who has them loves them.

They are a decent set of earphones for bass heavy music although over-priced. They look nice, the sound is decent and they are pretty good build quality. I've a pair of their competitors right here and think they're better than Beats myself and look the same.

Were also cheaper too, so I was happy out.

They do look dated, but sound > aethetics.

Im not a beats hater . i just said that the 10 quid pair from penneys were just as good . beats headphones are very good allright but my freinds teenage daughter was amazed at the sound quality from the exact same pair of headphones from penneys for a tenner and she bought a pair of beats last year for a few hundread euro . the only difference between the beats and the penneys ones were that the penneys ones didnt have the beats logo on them .

Ah right I wasn't refering to you as the beats hater just some people who were on the thread earlier. I suppose everyone is entitled to an opinion. And the main thing is that one likes there headphones beats or not and it really makes no difference what anyone else thinks but I suppose that applies to everything not just headphones.

It can be hard to compare headphones if you don't have friends with a wide range or have a shop near that has listening stations. I only managed to check out the beats and other in the loop in the airport. Their selection of headphones left a lot to be desired aswell.
Coming from the HD-25 i have, it was shocking how bad they compared. I was expecting some good points but they were just muddy. It can be a minefield choosing headphones, and searching high and low for reviews can be tiresome but it's worth it if you can get a good pair for a good price. These beats are neither. Buyer Beware
