You should see an "opt out" button lower left of photo, that will bring it back (to the already fairly new look!) where you get all the share/copy paste options.

on the lower left of photo there is a button that says feedback, when i click that it says they have been looking at feedback over the last 4 weeks and that is the page they have chosen.there is no opt out button there.

There is for me. At the very bottom of the white pop-up box. Maybe you need to scroll down.

Anyway, at this stage I am thinking the best opt-out button is here:

still no sign of an opt out button, can't scroll the page up or down. a bit of info on the FAQ page,it says they are trying out the new layout to some members,i guess i must be one of the unlucky ones.

They would really want to get their acter together, finding it hard to get the link to post a pic on here at the moment. Seems like a shambles at the moment.

Since flickr seems to be really on the slippery slope to a big pile of steaming monkey poo, is there any "easy" way to migrate all my content to 500px ?

The opt out option is gone now as the beta testing must be over.

If you open the photo you want to share there will be 4 icon selections on the right of the photo. One is a star, second is a comment, third is share this photo and forth is more actions.

Select the third one. You'll get options for how you want to share it. Below that it will also give you options for size. You know the rest.

    Hope this helps.

unfortunately i dont"know the rest" i still can't copy and paste a pic. could someone go into a wee bit of detail on how to.

    cheers.

Sorry Glaswegian. Right, as before select your picture from your photostream. It should now take up the majority of your screen with the right hand side containing all photo info and options.

You'll see four options - star, comment, share this photo and forth is more actions.

Select the third options (square with an arrow coming out). In there you'll see icons for Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Yahoo and Pinterest. Forget about those logos and look immediately below at the three small icons. One is like a clip, second is </> and the third is a pin. Select the first one - the clip.

This will being up further selections for size. It will say square, small, medium and large. Each of those options will give you a size selection. You want to select medium 800x534. From here it will generate a link which you can select (CTRL+A), copy and post by replying to a thread.

hi obrano, maybe(probably) i'm doing something wrong here, but i still can't upload a pic to boards.i followed your instructions (i forgot to say thanks) the link icon says link to this photo, there is no option to select photo size with this. the</> icon gives size options, the nearest to your suggested size is medium 800x588,when i copy and paste this to boards there is a jumble of numbers and letters.

    thanks.

This is the way I do it and it's quick and easy.
    1. Upload to Flickr
    2. Select photo in your photostream
    3. Right click and select the size you want (usually medium 800)
    4. Right click on the picture and select 'copy image address'.
    5. Come back into boards and 'go advanced' (not sure if you HAVE to do this but I tend to anyway in case i want to put a post title in or whatever).
    6. Click the 'insert image' icon.
    7. paste (ctrl+V) the image address in the box that comes up and click ok.
    8. Preview the post or 'post reply'.

Glaswegian, you're almost there. Don't use the </> icon, use the icon to the left which looks like an angled paper clip. THis will offer you the photo size options and a pastable (I don't even think that's a word) link for Boards.

    Hope this helps
