One of my favourite ever timelapse aviation videos.

Amazing how different aircraft join the glideslope much higher than others, and seem to look like they were suspended on strings like puppets as they descend.

Not the smooth steady rate of descent you'd imagine as you see an approaching aircraft in normal time. The music is nice and atmospheric too.

Interesting that Aer Lingus craft are amongst the only ones you can identify the airline from that angle.

Nice video. I flew out of Heathrow a few weeks ago, it was pretty dark, and just a constant stream of lights in the sky coming in to land. Non stop.

We also pulled up right beside Concorde and sat beside it for about 20 minutes due to the backlog of traffic coming in and out due to the storm the night before.

Yep, the green top really stands out in most airports.

Frankfurt is even worse, as you have 2-3 streams of inbound aircraft rather than the single stream at LHR (when using 1 inbound and 1 outbound runway)

It's like an episode of Thunderbirds!
