Make up brushes?

I've decided the time has come to get some decent brushes. I'm getting more into make up the last couple of years and I'm realising that brushes are a lot more important than I thought! So I want to get a decent beginners set, probably mainly for eyes for now but I don't want to spend crazy money on them. I know that the mac ones are supposed to be the best but I just don't have that kind of money for individual brushes. I have about €50 to spend, is it possible to get anything decent for that and where would I be best to go?
I've seen the massive sets on eBay for next to nothing but I kind of think if it seems to go to be true it probably is! Probably the main ones I want are an eyebrow, pencil and blending brush. Any recommendations or advice much appreciated!
    Thanks, Wren :)

Real Techniques are probably exactly what you are looking for. Rated pretty highly by lots of people, some even prefer them to their MAC counterparts.

You can pick them up on iHerb for a pretty reasonable price. http://www.iherb.com/Real-Techniques-by-Samantha-Chapman

I agree, they're brilliant. Also you can pick them up in boot. I own 13 Real Technique brushes at this stage and they're great! I do own a couple of MAC eye brushes, but yeah I certainly couldn't afford all the ones I want!

I'm going to be getting some all new makeup brushes soon and I am going to be getting some crown brushes. I have heard some good things about them and I checked the price for all the brushes I wanted to buy - and it was approx. 50euro. Quite good, I thought.

Real techniques sound like they might be the way to go. I'll check them out in boots today. I might also have a wander around clearys and debenhans and see if they still have any sales or offers on before Christmas madness starts. I've never heard of the crown brushes and the do look good but I'm a bit wary of buying online ( I know I need to get with the times!) but I'll def look for a few reviews. Do any of you use te blending sponges for foundation? The RT one is only €6 in boots?!
Thanks for all your help, appreciate it :-)

I have the Real Techniques stippling and expert face brushes and prefer them to my MAC brushes. I have the MAC 187 and 190.

I don't own any RT eye brushes, yet, but I do have some Eco Tools brushes and love them. I also have this No.7 brush, and find it just as good as the MAC 217 - Boots are doing the No7 vouchers again too now as well. I don't particularly like the other No7 brushes though, don't find them good at all.

I have these from Eco Tools and really love them, use them all the time.

Personally, as good as MAC brushes are, I don't think they are worth the money they cost. There are many brands around now that are just as good, and even, better than MAC.

Sigma brushes are meant to be fantastic, although I don't have any myself, yet. :o

Is there much of a chance of being caught for customs buying from iherb? The prices look fab but if youre going to have to pay charges.. :/
