Boiler Stove

    Looking for a stove for the house. Don't wanna pay through the roof prices!! Most people seem to be going for Henley type stoves... has anyone any experience of the crowd selling stoves off the m50 near Ashbourne? Stoves going for upwards of 169 euro? Seems to good to be true?

    Obviously don't wanna buy anything unreliable or anything, have a family to protect!!

    On a side note, if I did get a stove, would I have to change my current fireplace to an open fire? And if I did, does anyone have any experience with the costs associated? We have some sort of a back boiler that only seems to heat the radiators unpstairs, it can't be turned off or on (i've seen other people with back boilers that are switch operated)

    I'd really appreciate any help/advice

    HI I CURRENTLY HAVE A SOLID FUEL STOVE AND WOULD LIKE TO REPLACE THIS FOR A WOOD BURING BOILER (WET) STOVE. MY 1980S TWO STOREY HOUSE HAS 18 RADIATORS AND I ESTIMATE THE HEATING LOAD TO BE 20-25KW (PEAK). SHOULD THE WET STOVE BE SIZED AT PEAK OR PART LOAD. I WANT TO GET THE SIZING RIGHT. WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO PROVIDE SOME GUIDANCE ON THE SIZING OF THE STOVE. SHOULD IT BE SIZED ON PEAK OR PART LOAD.
