    Thanks Billy. I have that.
I am looking for correct nozzle size and angle, and combustion settings. Looks like I can replace like for like nozzle, but I always like to be able to check if the correct nozzle was fitted last time.

Short combustion chamber so maybe stick with an 80deg nozzle
Download a nozzle size calculator (app on iTunes) or use your nozzle sizing charts (in Oftec books)
and size from the boiler output. (use a 90% efficiency figure)

Boiler says max 100,400 btu, remeber the G3 is 90,000 btu max

    Like a 0.6USgal 80deg H at 8 bar would be 23kw output

Been through the "Complete Technical Guide" but it looks like i was short changed again, not there. ;)

I did have this boiler myself for years and although i don't recall the details i do remember that it was a .65/80s nozzle i used, it was pre FGA so it was by the eye but she ran clean for years. I think there was a predecessor to this sectional boiler made by Clyde and was fitted with a Clyde Climatic 30, the early Mectron, you could see if you can find the details of that. :o

Just being humorous DGOBS, surely we can still show humor and have a little banter between friends. :pac::pac::pac:

Thanks. I spent about an hour looking online without any luck. I will see how it looks with current nozzle when I pull the burner and compare it to chart sizing.

I think we all spent too much time checking I know I have

but as dgobs says not a very deep chamber so 80dg I would think are prob best

I don't know whether im wrong or right but I always set pressure at 8bar and fga it from there that's because I don't have mi to hand if I get a good fga reading im happy
