    Hi.

I have searched a lot but cant find what I am looking for, I am looking to find out what are the 3 most important sectors in the Cyprus economy.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of where the information would be?

    Have looked here? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Cyprus

what about the website of the Central Bank of Cyprus, has that anything? What do you mean by important? As, which sectors employ the most people or which sectors contribute most to GDP or which sectors contribute most to exports?

I think the usual source here is not GDP as such but more Gross Value Added (which is roughly the industry or sector defined by its output minus its inputs).

I would check Eurostat for GVA stats and obviously Cyprus should be included.

It will almost certainly say the industries mentioned in Andrew's link but always nice to have the data.

    EDIT: Someone

EDIT: Hah, can't believed that worked! Anyway, below is a result for the main ten NACE industries (there are more subtotals if you want).

You can find the data on Eurostat, just search for it in their statistics search bar, use the phrase in here

    http://epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu/portal/page/portal/statistics/search_database

'National Accounts detailed breakdowns (by industry, by product, by consumption purpose)'

And you'll find it if you want a greater breakdown
