This has been my methadone of late...

It's a great little course, about an hour away from me on the motorway, but it was opened yesterday when everywhere else was frostbitten..
The course is a fine course, good greens, tough dog legs, and in great nic overall,
The best thing about it, is that you can play there for 7 euro in their weekly competition, its the best value golf in Ireland ,
    A little GEM.

Great course, there's a nest of them down that way where 8 or 10 euro gets you out for an open competition.

    Rathdowney, Athy, Castlecomer, Portarlington.

its mad all right, you could get 3 games there for 15 euro ?, its best that they are making some money rather than an empty course in the middle of november, it costs nothing to have lads playing golf on a course ? if they eat in the club house its a bonus.

Rathdowney is a little gem also, a good course, so flat...very welcoming , Portarlington is on my list... its just that bit far...but meant to be a gem also
