PRSI only covers one checkup per calender year, nothing else.
This has been the case since January 2010, almost 4 years ago.
All dental practices will have pricelists for cleanings on their website&/in their practice, however it's usually better to have a PRSI checkup& be given an estimate for treatment; everyone varies depending on diet, oral hygiene, ect.

Thanks for the reply. I thought it covered the cost of some of the cleaning :-( we get nothing for PRSI now

I think my last cleaning cost €30 the rest was covered by prsi.

For some stupid reason if you are self employed prsi doesn't cover it

Don't complain to your dentist, we are self employed too and have little or no PRSI benefits...:(
