The building has now been bought by Wicklow Co.Co. after renting it for €1000 per day. I wonder who did they buy it from:rolleyes:

The people they were paying the rent to obviously

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Pedantic at best and not always the true.

€1000 per day is a lot for a big shed.
How much did they buy it for?

Wicklow County Council has bought the Bray Recycling Centre after seven years of paying €1,000 a day in rent.
.indo_survey>.wrap{position:inherit; background:#FFFFFF; display:block;} It is understood that the local authority paid somewhere between €700,000 and €800,000 for the premises.
The facility opened in 2006 and has continued as a rental property with the council since then.
.indo_survey>.wrap{position:inherit; background:#FFFFFF; display:block;} It is understood that a business operation purchased the site just prior to the setting up of the recycling centre.
Wicklow County Council was locked into a lease on the property and the opportunity arose recently to bring that arrangement to a close and put a more permanent arrangement in place
