Do you remember back in the summer the Taoiseach announced about 25 water meter jobs for Castlebar. Do you know of anyone that actually got one of the jobs? Personally I knew a few people that applied but to date have had no correspondence from the employer one way or the other.It has been suggested that County Council…

Do you remember back in the summer the Taoiseach announced about 25 water meter jobs for Castlebar. Do you know of anyone that actually got one of the jobs? Personally I knew a few people that applied but to date have had no correspondence from the employer one way or the other.It has been suggested that County Council staff were redeployed to the positions but I have seen nothing to say this is in fact what happened to the proposed jobs
