Bad third party bulb, maybe?

I have an Epson TW3200. Got it last year and I love it to bits. I'm a bit of a power user, don't really save it for special occasions. I've my consoles and a PC hooked up to it and I have it on probably between 5-10 hours a day, mostly.

This means replacing the lamp more often than I'd like so I decided to look at third party lamps. I got one there a while ago and I've only just put it in now and there's a regular beeping coming from it that wasn't there with an official bulb. It's driving me INSANE! I haven't come across any other mention of anything like it either so it's very frustrating... I'm thinking it's a crappy lamp, but i don't know why there would be faint beeping coming from it. It's regular, too, ~10 seconds between the loudest beep, and there's a few faint beeps in between. It's worth noting that the loudest beep is still not very loud, but it gets on your nerves pretty quickly I can assure you!

Anyone have any experience with anything like this? And does anyone have any recommendations for reasonably priced, third-party lamps that are actually good?

Invariably third party lamps will overheat the projector and destroy it eventually , your best bet is to get a genuine lamp , there are few if any projectors that work as they should with third party lamps.

Unfortunately those are the lumps you have to take when running a projector all the time , lamps are expensive and third party lamps are a waste of money.
