No prob. Booked the ballinasloe one for me and the man for a night before Christmas. Nice spa and pool to have a chill out weekend.

Fair play for posting the link. All sorted now for a bed for the night for my trip to Edinburgh, that will cost less than the taxi fare the airport. :D

Booked Salthill for me and the pregnant wife in January. Wondering if I should have booked Ballinasloe? She just wants to relax, not swimming or anything, hmm?

The Salthill is a lovely hotel, right on the coast. Hopefully you'll get one of the renovated rooms, they're gorgeous.

I stayed in salthill last year with my heavily pregnant wife and they put us in a "quiet" room which looked into a wall and was over a wedding reception. Because I asked for a quiet room, I naturally rang reception where the guy told me basically where to go (I don't expect them to stop the wedding but it annoys me when they put non wedding guests who want a quiet room over a function still going at 1am).
On check out, I told my story to which the lady said I should have told them my wife was pregnant. Needless to say my wife was not impressed pointing at the obvious bump that she had 2 days earlier when checking in...........
