ICBF HEIFER SEARCH

    Is the facility available on ICBF yet to carry out a search of a heifers history based on her tag number, similar to the bull search already available, there was talk of this being available at some stage

    if she is a pure bred heifer you can look her up in the limo or char or whatever breeds herdbook which you will see a link to from the societies website but i dont believe you can look up commercial heifers unless in your own herd and you have herdplus subscription with icbf

    thats what i thought, was talk of a search engine similar to bulls

    The funny thing is you can look up your own young weanling bulls and then find their mother through the Pedigree Tab, but you cant input the mother's tag directly. Madness.

    Isn't a queer system that you have to have them in ur own herd before you can find out when say a cow last calved and how many calves she had etc... Bit late then
