voting a fee?

    hi all
    i'm a trainee. doing some year end accounts. there happens to be an amount owing to the company by a director at year end. thus i am informed i must 'vote a fee'. what does this mean? what steps must i take? lost :(

    A director's account cannot be a negative, therefore you could pay him a fee.

    But, if you're a trainee you should be asking your manager. Good lesson to learn now, don't be afraid to ask questions of your manager.
