Im just looking to generate some opinion.
Are accounting classes at 500-700 quid a pop effective?
I believe that the majority of learning whether you're in a class or not is done through your own study.

    Just looking for some comments/Feedback

You should never underestimate what you learn at lectures. I have always found the tips and areas covered in lectures are very useful at exams.

I found classes beneficial. Provided a good time structure for spacing out the course/less likely to procrastinate when you have a class to go to. More focus on key areas which save times when applied to study. Any queries on the content can be clarified with the lecturer quickly. Some lecturers provide extra questions you wont see in the exam kits and provided good exam technique advice.

Further learning/revision/question practice has to be done in your own time but this is no different for self study. If a student believes they can use the equivalent time spent at lectures laying down as good a foundation for the different topics of a subject, then that is money well saved.
