What is difference between assets under management and assets under administration??

    IN the case of investment funds anyway, assets under mgt would be the assets available to a single manager for investment purposes. Assets under admin would refer to the total assets that a fund administrator (or custodian) manage the books of and complete their usual work. Differnece being that the Administator/Custodian will deal with many different managers. Hope that makes snese.
