    Have you tried the likes of adverts or donedeal for old furniture that might have them?

    Tough one, would say the same also perhaps a second hand furniture place would have something to suit, that or well you could approach the local 2ndary school and ask the wook work or metal teacher to do a project with the kids then show them the finished project. Another one is if you had access to some wooden pallets a lot of them have these flimsyish metal corner pieces like this, you could break them off and just paint on the detail..
