    Hi,

I was wondering if there is a geologist here who may be aware of Rhyolite outcrops present in the west Wicklow/east Kildare/north Carlow areas?

I have found prehistoric lithic artefacts(now with the National Museum),and am looking for a possible source. There is a possibility however, that these rhyolites may have come from beach pebbles and cobbles from the east coast.

    Thanks.
