Lessons in South Dublin

    Hi Folks,

I'm looking for a few lessons in the south Dublin/Stepaside area

Bar a few outings each year on local pitch and putt courses, I'm a complete novice. Is there anyone out there you could recommend that would be patient enough to put up with a rookie like myself?

I'd be looking to get a bundle of 10 or so lessons in the hope that I could get a slightly better rate

Any names I should try and get in contact with?

    Thanks in advance

You can always nip up to Stackstown where Mick Kavanagh and his team will look after you or you can try Leopardstown Golf Centre if you can bare the sweet twitterings of the Friday Fillies et al :P

David Lewis in Greystones or Mick Allen in Leopardstown both come with a high recommendation from me

Is he? Was thinking of giving him a go for the winter?

    What does he use?

    Is that bay heated? :D

He'll go through the basics, grip, posture, set up etc.. And then on to video lessons would be my guess.

I went to him when I started and am now playing off a fairly low h/c so he must be doing something right.

I would be fairly sure he'd cut you a deal on a number of lessons too.
