I haven't bought anything myself, but wouldn't be against it.
Tartan mini skirts are a little too 'Tatu' for my liking, though

I saw some tartan shorts in pennys and BT's - didn't like them, you would obviously wear them with black tights and a leather jacket to modernise it.

But tartan can make you look bigger than you are large prints the bigger the tartan print the bigger you will look so be careful with this trend..

From a guys perspective, I've one tartan styled shirt, cant say i'm mad on the style at all, but it appears it's going to be big in the Spring14 range..

A tartan shirt is only good for skinny guys,i would say even if you are 10 pounds over the mark i would stay away .. If you are a skinny minny its grand :D

The only tartan thing i bought was a scarf as im a little on the overweight side..

I hate it but to be fair part of my school uniform was tartan so that is probably why I dislike it so much.

I've a tartan shirt that I'm wearing with wax skinnies... I love it wouldn't go for it all over though :)

I quite like it, although I'm not mad on the red tartan. I bought a really nice navy tartan snood from asos which I love! It's a New Look snood. :)

I really like it. And have been wearing it for years. But probably won't wear it now this winter seeing as it's a "trend". Hate trends :p

Same, have always loved it but not now that it's "in". When it goes out, I'll start wearing it again.

There is a drastic difference between good looking tartan products and bad. It can be horrendous or amazing looking imo. I don't like tartan products with a lot of white in them.

I like it so long as it's not overdone, got a nice pair of tartan shorts in New Look,I might get a shirt as well. I think the dresses are a bit stupid looking, reminds me of the uniforms in Home and Away!

I like it. Zara had some nice tartan blazers earlier this year. I'm not too keen on the red tartan. I would wear it whether it is trendy or not if I thought it suited me and looked good.

It can be nice when worn certain ways, not mad into tartan skirts as they remind me of a tacky 'sexy schoolgirl' halloween outfit or something...
But yeah scarves, bags etc are nice and even leggings worn with a black shirt and ankle boots can look nice. And I think this is stunning...

I always liked tartan and have a few tartan items of clothing, I'm not overly keen on red tartan but love blues with a little bit of red or else green with navy.

Saw a fab red tartan mini dress on Holly Willoughby in a magazine today - it has a white peter pan collar and a black bow and its listed as being from Primark - has anyone spotted it in Penneys??

I love tartan especially green and blue tartan.

Years ago in college, I had plenty of tartan skirts but now I would only wear it as a hat or scarf. As posters have already mentioned, you need to be thin to carry it off.

I got a gorgeous black and green tartan dress in Penneys recently with a white peter pan collar. Its gorgeous! Didn't look special on the hanger but its very flattering.

I'm wearing mine with thick tights and some black lace up ankle boots. I wore it once and I loved it so much I'm saving it to wear to mass on Christmas Eve :o They just got them in in red, and black and white and I'm sorely tempted to buy them as well, because they look really nice with bare legs too, so I'd be able to re-accesserise them come Summer.

Didn't think tartan would be my thing but I'm loving it so far. Some gorgeous tartan dresses on Missguided.com too, actually :)

We were in a shopping centre and the missus pointed to some mannequinns wearing tartan stuff and she goes "I still have my tartan skirt from when it was in fashion last time around!"

I don't really know why she was so happy about it though, my first thought was she was feeling old. Maybe it's just she's delighted it still fits after about a decade and one child later.
