Going on my honeymoon in march were going to go to canaries but want to do about 3 days somewhere in Europe before we do the sun part we were looking at Venice but I'm pretty anxious in general and have read that you will definitely get lost there ( which is one of my biggest fears!) so in two minds now !
Can anyone reccomend where might b good to go to for these days in Italy, France, Spain or anywhere in this general area pref somewhere I wouldn't get lost too easy :)

    Depends on what you're into.

Venice, I thought, was massively touristy, but not nessecarily bad.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I don't really mind the touristy part I even kinda like that means b a bit of stuff going on! It's the getting lost part that bothers me :(

Pisa, beautiful city, very hard to get lost in :P (and I get lost everywhere!)

or Rome, the most beautiful city I have ever been to (not that expensive either!)

Thanks gonna have a look at Pisa, I don't know why but we kinda hadn't even included Rome I think I had thought it would be a rip off

Pisa is just beautiful, and very cheap! I'd really recommend the Republicca Mariana (if I spelled it wrong I'm sorry), beautiful 4 star hotel around 10 minutes from the airport and ten minutes by bus or twenty minutes by foot to everything.

We got it at a steal for €188.00 for 4 nights in November last year, we booked through olotels. Flights by Ryanair are usually very cheap off season (which is when you would be planning to go) we got them for around €100.00 for the two of us.

Rome is also extremly cheap, we got 12 nights for two people for €600.00, and never spent more than €25-30 between us on dinner a night) we stayed in a four star camp site located just outside Rome and flew with Ryanair who were miles cheaper than Aer Lingus! Obviously as it's your honeymoon you wouldn't be doing that, but shop around, use sites like trivago and booking.com and you'll find a great deal for Rome!

Ooh excited about looking at Pisa and Rome later!! Had thought Naples too but have heard it's an awful kip ( just wanted to see Pompeii)
My partner not too keen on Barcelona I'm not sure why would there be much to do there?

Barcelona is grand. Lots of pickpockets but Rome, Naples etc are as bad.

Prague you havent mentioned yet. Its just lovely.
You will need to consult a map now and again but its so compact that you cant really get lost, and theres a big castle on the hill for reference too and the Charles bridge below it.
    Its also quite romantic.

But Rome is class too I hear. The summer heat would kill you but weather in March should be good without being hot.

Sicily. It's awesome. And cheap. The food is great; people are friendly and it's easy to get around - excellent bus service between the towns. There's an incredible amount of history on the island; Baroque, Roman, Greek and prehistoric.

only thing, if youre going that far then Malta is another option 100km further south which offers similar, but speaking english.

we went there on our honeymoon and it was spot on.
the tours can be organised the day before so you can play it by ear and they bring you to the various megalitic monuments, which they point out are older than even newgrange! Pickup is at the main hotels so either from your door or 5 / 10 min walk.

you can get a boat tour about the harbour, or entire island.
I was surprised myself there was enough to keep us busy as we had just planned to enjoy the nice hotel and go for an odd stroll in the sunshine.

I personally think Florence is a more beautiful and interesting destination than either Rome or Pisa. You can actually fly into Pisa and get into Florence on the bus

Was there in May/June and September, was quite warm (high 20s, low 30's), not the worst I've ever been in :P (worst was 42 degrees in the South of France and not a breeze to be had :()

how about a snow holiday in the pyrenees ?, usually in march it is snow underfoot and blue kies above you, amazing scenery and you don't need to ski, lots of the mountain villages are set up for skiers and non skiers alike. cauterets is great and has a wonderful spa as well.
