Help setting up msm messaging on HTC 8x

Can anyone tell me in simple steps how to set up mms messaging on HTC 8x. I have been on meteor chat twice today and while the operators are trying to be helpful I am getting nowhere. I know to go in to message settings and go to edit mms apn but when i get there the headings dont match the headings on the instructions meteor have on their webpage. Is there a simple way to do this. Thank you

I'll try and get the settings this evening. I have a Meteor sim but in an Android tablet currently but have a Windows 8 phone at home I can put it into and see what the settings are for you.

What settings have you tried in the APN currently


I've cobbled these together so not 100% sure if they are correct


* APN -> mms.mymeteor.ie
* Username -> my
* Password -> wap or meteor
* WAP gateway (URL) -> blank
* WAP gateway port -> blank
* MMSC (URL) -> http://mms.mymeteor.ie
* MMSC port -> 8799
* Maximum MMS size -> 307200
* IP type -> IPv4

That is what is on my phone except maximum mms size is blank and IP type is IPv4v6.

Also, you need to send an MMS first before it becomes active (I just send one to myself).

Failing that, get them to check its enabled on your account
