I heard about this a good while ago. While its hard to definitely say that any of them are suicides, its certainly plausible that some are.
I can see a persons reasoning for choosing a car accident though.

I heard this a while back from a friend in the force who has had to attend to a high number of SVI's with no skid marks or signs or any attempt to avoid an impact.

It's not a fool proof way however as they have to compile a report which states this for any inquest. It can have insurance implications meaning no pay out.

I certainly agree. For someone however contemplating it, on paper it looks a lot better for the family afterwards.
Its easier to get over a close one dying from an rta than it is from suicide.

By the way, if Ive offended anyone in any way with my posts on this topic, I sincerely apologise.

Sadly someone contemplating it isn't thinking straight for one reason or another and forgets the major point of it being a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

+1, no offence is intended by any posts here by me.

It's an emotive and sensitive topic and if anything comes across any other way highlight a post to me and I'll either clarify/remove/edit it.
