Hi I'm hoping someone can give me some advice myself and my partner of 6 years has recently broken up we were cohabiting and gettin job seekers allowance..I know we are over for good and I want to go back to claiming lone parents but have been told by a friend I need my ex partner to go to the social welfare office and change the claim as it's in his name I've tried contacting him asking to get it sorted but I can't get in touch..do I need him to do it or does anyone know if I can go by myself?
