    Hi all,

I'm selling my trek 7.1 fx 2012 model. The frame has cracked above the rear cog I.e where the wheel and the cog align. I posted pics here before of it. Some people say it can be fixed others say it can't. Might be useful to someone for parts or as a challenge:)

    €80.00

    Thanks

I am afraid that potentially unusable / unrepairable frame and medium/low grade used components are worth very, very little.

Also, according to forum rules you should put the price in the first post.

That's the problem mate I'm not sure what to put in for it. I'm trying to be as fair as possible. My local bike shop in Fairview stated that they have a welder who would DEFINETLY BE able to fix it but I would rather be transparent with it now. New set of tyres on it worth 60. Might be worth something to someone.

I might be interested for parts only. Are the wheels true? What make/model are the new tyres? Any idea how many km on the drivetrain? Thanks, Paul

Hi Paul. The tyres are continental touring plus and are about 4/5 months old. The drive train I reckon 700/800 km. I can pm u the details of the bike shop if u wanted to check out the welding option. I was sceptical going in but he was adamant it could be done.
