Well after it got caught in the flood in Bangkok 2 years ago now, Here's the list of repairs that were to be carried out to get the special flight permit.

Is it worth doing the repairs or will it be scrapped?

2 Actions will take place here.

1. Insurance Claim - No way this A/C is worth repairing. The amount of downtime involved, availability of overhaul shops amongst other things would make this BER.
2. Said aircraft will make a nice new Restaurant in Bangkok or will make approximately 1 Million Coke Cans.

"BER" -what exactly does that stand for? -I get the gist that it's for the knackers yard, but just wondering the specific meaning.
