i recently moved the oil burner in the garden, which was stuck in the middle of the garden, approx. 15 feet to one side of the garden- no problems with the oil heating, Now when i lit a fire, and its not a big fire,, i have a back boiler, some of the hot water from the hot water tank in the hot press goes up into the small water tank in the attic and the outside through the expansion pipe, the back boiler still heats the radiators, the circulation pump still comes on, i have changed the therosat of the hot water tank from between 50 to 70 trying to solve the problem, Any ideas would be helpfull, never had this problem up to i moved the oil burner

Might be a stuck non return valve that stuck when you drained the system.

Probably just change the valve. Cost very little.
