Can anyone advise me on how long I should wait before tarring my drive way, I'm currently half way through a self build and I've been told I should let the ground settle for a year before tarring the drive? What are the pro's/cons of doing it straight away just before we move in?

I'd leave it a year to be honest - the ground will take a long time to settle and this will crack your new (and expensive) tar.

    Hey boss

I know a guy who is finishing a big job. Could drop around and use some left over tar at the right price. Cash only. Good until the next heavy rain

if you have put down 3 inch stone or 4 around house then 804 . roll it good . it will be fine then to tarmac .
