How long does it take to hear back from Advertising Standards?

I submitted a complaint about a company via the ASAI website about three months ago. Almost straight away they sent me a letter in reply to say that they're investigating and will be back in touch soon. I haven't heard anything since. Do they still let you know if the investigation leads to nothing?

They'll publish it on their complaints bulletins online early next month.
They are toothless tbh, nothing will come of it except a smack on the wrist.
