Hey guys, ive never dealt with this before and would like some advice,i had a minor bump this today, both cars at fault 50/50 but the other driver said i was at fault and i said id pay for damage done assuming i was at fault,so i made arrangements to have his car repaired...but now i managed to review cctv footage and its clearly 100% a 50/50. No doubt about it. So i contacted insurance co immedietely and agreed wed sort it between ourselves,so they asked whos paying and i said im paying (this was before i viewed footage)..so have i admitted liability or is the footage going to be the be all end all. Thanks.

Can you show the footage to the insurance company? If they havent started proceedings yet then Im sure they will be able to help.

You should never admit liability even if you were at fault, that's what it says on my insurance booklet anyway
