Looking for a pair of trousers for me father for these cold winter days.
He is in his late 60's and his birthday is coming up
When he goes out foddering now, he just has a pair of standard trousers on and im sure he does be cold.

Can anyone recommend a trousers that has a warm lining on the inside ?

just a trousers that looks standard from the outside ( i.e not a shell type material ) with a lining on the inside

Try the Craghoppers Basecamp winter-lined trousers. I have a pair and they look like normal trousers.

Check Aldi and Lidl, they have winter stuff in at the moment, and they know more about cold weather in Germany than we do. their ski stuff is cosy warm.

I wear Armadillo trousers. I buy them at our local building merchant. The knees have extra padding and the have lots of pockets. I find them warm but the will be pricier than aldi / lidl.

I bought a pair of those as well about 5 years ago. Very hard wearing but didn't turn out to be as waterproof as they were supposed to be. Got them in barretts

Shaws and Debenhams often have a Craghoppers section. I only buy when stuff is on sale. I'm tight like that!

Would these trousers suit farm work though ?

Some of the laydeez on her wear a skirt, so any trousers should be an upgrade.

Great heat in a good pair of overalls if he needs to go heavy duty.

Wear them myself, the pocket that hangs out is great for holding the wooly hat
