Using facebook.com email | awaiting email confirmation

hi folks,

I recently changed my email from my work account (I've changed jobs) for both adverts and boards.ie to my facebook.com email address.

When I select the hyper link in the mail sent to confirm my address it translates the link to this:

http://fbsbx.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.boards.ie%2Fauth%2Freg%2F59006%2Fbeccef4b16ad03ce5fa846694033248d027edbe4&h=jAQFiZStn&s=1


and I get the following error in IE "Not Found"

I've tried copying the link but it says its invalid "Account cannot be activated, invalid activation code"

Can this please be resolved?

This isn't a boards.ie issue, this is due to Facebook mangling the link. Copy the link location of the link out separately from the email and try that it a new browser tab instead.

I already tried this however.

I also cannot change my email to another email address now.

Hi there.

I got it sorted thank you. There was a duplicate mail to verify account, and it came in late.

The copied link worked that time!
