Perhaps you should indicate where you live.

I'm confused as to why you'd buy a kit guitar and then spend another few hundred getting it assembled. Why not just spend the money on a preassembled one?

building a kit takes at least 40 hours work.

how much would a professional craftsman charge?

a carpenter or plumber is going to charge MINIMUM of 25 an hour, yes?

a luthier deserves at least as much as that as they are so much harder to find.

add to that, what you will end up with is a guitar that sounds like a guitar made by that luthier, rather than a Martin.

if it was me (and I've made 90 guitars from scratch), I wouldn't take on the job as you obviously want a Martin on the cheap, and a maker of handmade instruments isn't going to want to make a replica of a factory made guitar for less than he could make and sell a guitar with his own name on it!
