    Hi all,
I purchased goods today whereby I needed to pay via paypal. I used the app to transfer the money. When I went to confirm, the app gave an error message saying payment declined due to government restrictions. I tried it again, and the same message came up. I went straight onto the computer, and sent the money across with no problems. Within 2 minutes, 3 separate transactions appeared, all for the same item and price. I am now down E360 as a result. They payment was already confirmed by the seller, so I wasnt able to cancel the payment going through. I have contact the seller and I have heard nothing as of yet. What is the best course of action? As far as I am concerned, I didnt authorise the first 2 payments, as the app declined both of them (so I wasnt to know they had actually gone through).

    Thanks

I have indeed. They've said that as I authorised the payments and there's proof of purchase I have no real case. I'll chase up for a week and if no joy, I assume I can try a chargeback?

Can you contact the shop/person you sent the money to and ask them to refund the extra transactions? Also check if when you go to Paypal and click on Details in the trasaction if it's no completed you should be able to reclaim the payment.

Contacted the seller and no response. Theyve taken all 3 payments so I can't cancel the payment.
