Oil-free or oil-filled radiator?

    Hi there,

Just looking for a bit of advice please. It's getting pretty cold these days and overnight our babys room is getting quite cold. Our heating only has 3 time settings so it's getting awkward changing the time constantly as everyday is a different temperature lately. Also, our heating bill is through the roof as we have to heat the entire upstairs when all we want to do is heat his small little room.

We have a few electric heaters but I don't want to put these in babys room as I don't think they are that safe. Was thinking of getting one of those electric radiators with a timer. But now I see there are are oil filled or oil free rads.

1). Would really appreciate any advise on whether these radiators are safe for a babies room overnight? We will only be putting it on for an hour or 2 around 3am amd perhaps an hour or 2 during the day.
2). And also are they economical? Cheaper to run than putting the house heating on?
3). Which would be better for us... The oil free? Or the oil filled? And why? Is one safer than the other? Just wondering coz will be in babies room.

    Thanks for your time.
