    Ladies....

Does anyone know of anywhere in Ireland that professionally cleans designer handbags? The missus has a few mulberry bags and a Prada one as well as a few other ones (last throws of the celtic tiger!!).

After a few years they are fairly grubby. With the little ones now passed needing bottles and nappies i thought it would be a nice treat to bring a couple of them up like new again. She loves the bags and says they are investment pieces, so i wouldn't mind maybe getting them back to their former glory.

Does anyone do this or have any of you had this done (was it succesful?)

    Thank you.

Maybe you could try an actual cobbler. They work with leather all of the time and would be able to tell you if it can be cleaned or not. They might do it themselves.
I have been to one in Castleknock before- its opposite Myos pub. I needed to have buttons stitched back onto a leather jacket and I didnt have the right tools myself to do it. He was very nice and helpful.
There is also another place in town that you could try. Its a leather shop near the Chilli Club just off Duke Street (I think, might be South Anne Street either). The man in there works with genuine leather too and repairs some goods. He could also be of help.
If they couldn't do it themselves they might know of a specialist dry cleaners that could help or something.
