Recalls on UK imports

I imported a VW Passat 2.0tdi 170PS a few months ago, as it turns out there was a recall for these cars on injectors. I've checked my engine code and it matches those eligible for the recall and I've checked the car and the recall has not been done (No recall sticker or any documentation).

As the car has been imported is it still possible to have this recall done, and if so would I go to VW UK or VW Ireland?

    Any help is much appreciated

Any VW dealer will do it.

You might find that some dealers will book their own customers first before looking after imports. Especially imports that have never seen their service bays.

I would argue that its a great chance to get these into your workshops on a consistent basis this way but that view isnt always shared!
