Item for cleaning rollers???

    hi all,
    I am looking for a item for cleaning paint of roller sleves,i see plenty of items in the us but none that are much good here,looking for something that can spin the roller fast to free the paint and dry it,if anyone knows of anything and where to get it would be a great help:confused:thanks

    I tell you now there is nothing on this earth better than a power washer to clean rollers. It leaves them like new. Spins the living daylights out of em too

    I do agree with you on that but it is a bit hard to take a power washer away with you when you are a long way from home to clean the roller.

    I agree. I didn't realise you needed a mobile cleaner. Can't think of anything except for the usual was in warm water. But no matter how much you hose it or wash it or scrub it, after all that you'll still have that little feckin bit of paint coming out

    Clingfilm is your friend. Wrap it and it will be fine for the next days painting or when you get home to blast it with the powerwasher.

    hi,
    if you get a length of 6 mm threaded bar, roughly 450-500mm long, put the bar through the roller, put a washer and nut at the bottom, another nut and washer at the top to slightly tighten the roller, attach to a drill, and spin it in a cardboard box or wheeliebin or something like that, and watch the paint fly off the roller and dry within a minute,
    works everytime....:)
